Jan Kaplan

Jan Kaplan is currently the Senior Director of Philanthropy at Voices for Children, where she oversees major gifts and individual giving, special events, donor stewardship, planned giving, and other special campaigns. She has three decades of fundraising expertise and a strong record of using strategic planning, donor stewardship, and effective communication to increase annual fundraising results. Most recently, Jan served as the Director of Donor Relations at Father Joe’s Villages. Earlier in her career, she held positions in special events and development coordination at San Diego Opera and Starlight Musical Theatre. Kaplan holds a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of San Diego.
