Office of Homeless Solutions (OHS) The mission of OHS is to lead the prevention, reduction, and elimination of homelessness in our region through evidence driven approaches that leverage existing regional partnerships and work with cross-sector community stakeholders to ensure person-centered services and data driven homeless solutions. Conam Affordable Housing: *New* Open and actively housing people.
Housing First San Diego Affordable housing lists; individual can call and get on any waitlist to get an opening. Hotline: 619-578-7768 or email housingfirstsandiego@sdhc.org for those residing in the City of San Diego (zip codes starting with 921XX).
San Diego Housing Commission (SDHC): Affordable rentals, help with rent, affordable housing resource guide (Spanish), and more.
Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Resource Locator: Find affordable housing, HUD offices, public housing authority (PHA), homeless resources, and affordable elderly and special needs housing.
CalAIM: Funding for housing for people and children with Medi-Cal (Medi-Cal, ECM, and Community Supports flyers).
2-1-1: Main hub for comprehensive housing resources in San Diego, including hotel vouchers.
Housing & Community Development Services (HCDS): Rental assistance throughout San Diego County through project-based vouchers or Section 8 housing choice vouchers (HCV)
HCDS Self Sufficiency Services: Customers can also apply for the Homeless Assistance Program through Self-Sufficiency Services. Call 1-866-262-9881 to expedite assistance.
