Amanda Schaap serves as the Director of Communications at Voices for Children and has been with the organization since 2016. In her role, she oversees the organization’s marketing, branding, advertising, and public relations. Along with the marketing team, Amanda supports all areas of the organization to inspire, connect, and mobilize the community to help children in foster care through VFC’s CASA program. She is passionate about telling the stories of the children we serve and the CASA volunteers who support them through our blog, publications, videos, and in the community. Prior to Voices for Children, Amanda held various marketing roles at Feeding San Diego and a nonprofit serving at-risk youth in the Twin Cities. She holds a bachelor’s degree in art with an emphasis in graphic design from Dordt University.
