in Foster Care
All donations matched up to $25,000!
Maximize your Giving Tuesday donations by supporting children in foster care through the advocacy of CASA volunteers by giving to our CASA program in San Diego and Riverside Counties.
Giving Tuesday is just the start of our year-end giving campaign. You can help us recruit and train more CASAs in the new year by setting up a recurring or one-time donation today.
Where Are They Now?
Hear from five individuals about the impact their CASAs had on their lives.
Make a Tangible Difference
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) trained and supported by Voices for Children create real change in the lives of children by advocating to ensure their needs are met and they have the stability they need to thrive.
Children with CASAs are more likely to:
- Find a safe, permanent home
- Spend less time in foster care
- Perform better in school
Sean & CASA Art
Sean and his brother, Luis, experienced homelessness as children. Then, one day, their mother disappeared. They entered foster care and were supported by CASA Art for 4 years until they were adopted.
"I owe a lot back to Voices for Children for what they did for us. We definitely wouldn't be where we are now if it wasn't for Voices for Children and our CASA, Art."
Joseph & CASA Kevin
Joseph entered foster care due to domestic violence in his home. He was matched with CASA Kevin, who stayed by his side for 6 years until he aged out of the system. Today, the two still stay in touch, and Kevin was by Joseph's side on his wedding day.
"Growing up, I didn't really have stability. So I appreciate the stability now. I appreciate knowing that I'm going to get up and go to work and do what I need to do there, and come home and spend time with my baby boy then do it again the next day."
