Imagine what our community would look like if every child felt safe and valued.
Children who had previously been abused or neglected would no longer feel shame over a situation they could not control. They would begin to trust adults again. And they would have opportunities for a successful future.
No matter what trauma a child has experienced, studies show that the greatest indicator of future success is whether they had at least one consistent, positive adult presence in their life. For children in foster care, that person is their CASA – their Court Appointed Special Advocate – provided by Voices for Children.
You can help. Let our children know they are never alone.
During the COVID-19 crisis, children in foster care are added stress in an already turbulent situation. We rely on your support to continue meeting their needs and providing them with advocates who will prioritize what is best for them. In addition, in the coming months as restrictions are lifted, child welfare professional anticipate a spike in child abuse reports and an increase in the number of children entering foster care. We will need to be ready to provide them with the unparalleled support of a CASA.
This May, during National Foster Care Month, we are asking you to make a gift to our Spring Annual Fund Campaign and help us change the trajectory of children's lives forever.

Hannah's Story
Hannah had been neglected as a child and sexually abused by her father. She had no self-confidence and was extremely behind in school. Thanks to donors like you, we were able to match Hannah with CASA Linda. Linda made Hannah feel capable and valued. She researched the girl’s medical needs, educational needs, and foster care placement. With her dedication and advocacy on Hannah’s behalf, Hannah grew in self-confidence. She began doing better in school and participated in extracurricular activities like dance.
