Riverside County Initiative
In 2015, Voices for Children will be serving more foster children in need. As of January 2015, VFC has entered into an agreement with the Superior Court of California, County of Riverside to help rebuild and manage the CASA Program in our neighboring county. Just as in San Diego County, thousands of children in Riverside are in foster care and desperately need CASAs to advocate for them in court, in school, and in the community.

Advocate for a Foster Child
Contemplating what the New Year will look like for you? Our children need your voice! CASA volunteers are information gatherers who get to know their case child, facilitate communication with the child's case team, and make recommendations to the Court. Attend an Information Session to learn how with just 10-15 hours a month, you can change the trajectory of a foster child’s life.

Voices for Children—a private, nonprofit organization—is the only agency in San Diego County designated by the Superior Court to provide foster children with volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs). To serve the 5,100 foster children in San Diego County, VFC depends on the generosity of individuals, foundations, and corporations.
