Resources for CSEC Survivors

BACK TO CASA CASEWORK RESOURCES

Flourish Academy:

The Flourish Academy empowers survivors to pursue their healing through the lens of emotional, spiritual, physical, social, intellectual, environmental, and financial health. Partnering with the Kinesiology and Integrative Wellness program at PLNU to design the new program, we are excited to offer this first of its kind opportunity for survivors to gain important life skills as they build new futures free from exploitation.

Elevate Academy:

Elevate Academy is an online school that serves survivors of human trafficking by focusing on professional development and economic empowerment. Our innovative classes and cohorts are exclusively focused on preparing survivors to fulfill their career dreams. Whether they are creating a life plan, learning leadership skills, or preparing for a job interview, Elevate Academy offers everything our students need to take the next step towards a new start.

2022 Mental Health Month Toolkit:

The theme of MHA’s 2022 Mental Health Month Toolkit is "Back to Basics." After the last two years of pandemic living, many people are realizing that stress, isolation, and uncertainty have taken a toll on their well-being. Our goal is to provide foundational knowledge about mental health & mental health conditions and information about what people can do if their mental health is a cause for concern.

The Cool Aunt - Sex Trafficking Talk with Auntie Rachel:

The Alabaster Jar Project began as a ministry of The Church at Rancho Bernardo and incorporated as a standalone nonprofit 501(c)3 in 2013, receiving tax exempt status in July of 2014. It is now comprised of Grace House, a long-term residential program; a Resource Center, a drop-in center that provides clothing, toiletries, programming and Peer Support Group.

Generate Hope:

GenerateHope is a safe place for survivors of sex trafficking to heal and find restoration in long-term housing and trauma-informed therapy, education, and vocational support. Since recovery from sexual exploitation is a long-term process, GenerateHope provides safety, community, and individualized life skills support to work through the deep trauma and discover a healthy, purpose-filled life.

San Diego Youth Service's I CARE:

I CARE supports youth, up to age 21, who are at risk for or have experienced sex trafficking or other commercial sexual exploitation. The program provides a mental health clinic and a drop-in center.

San Diego Youth Service's STARS Program:

Our STARS (Surviving Together, Achieving and Reaching for Success) program empowers survivors, ages 12-24, to leave sexual exploitation and trafficking by providing emotional support to develop their inner strengths, improve their self-esteem and identify their dreams. We promote healing through relationships and a sense of community through our client-centered, trauma-informed services.
