Lovisa Stannow is the Interim Chief Executive Officer of Voices for Children, overseeing the organization’s mission-driven work on behalf of children in foster care. She has more than 30 years of experience as a non-profit executive, promoting social justice and human rights in the U.S. and internationally. Lovisa specializes in serving as Interim CEO at organizations in transition and is a faculty member at the Interim Executives Academy. Previously, she was the Executive Director of Just Detention International and the Pacific Institute for Women’s Health and held leadership roles at Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières and Amnesty International. Lovisa is multilingual and has spent significant parts of her career based in war zones and areas of humanitarian disaster worldwide.
